If your theme fits the following criteria we would love to include it in our database. Please send your theme to wpt@wordpresstheme.com
- All themes at WordPressTheme.com are free to download
- All themes must be WordPress 2.01 Compliant. Themes originally developed for older versions of WordPress are permissible provided they work with version 2.01
- Before a theme is available for download a link will be placed in the footer pointing back to WordPressTheme.com. It is not required for the contributer to place this link in the footer, however doing so will greatly decrease the time it takes before the theme is available for download. The link text required is simply “WPT”
- All themes will have a screenshot made before being available for download. The screen shot should be taken from a maximized window. Once taken the image should be resized to 400 x 300 pixels and not exceed a file size of 50k. Screenshots are not required for submission however submissions with screenshots will be available for download much sooner than those which aren’t.
- WordPressTheme.com reserves the right to perform other minor modifications of themes not mentioned above before making them available for download. These modifications WILL NOT affect the layout or presentation of a theme.
- Each theme available for download will be given it’s own post/page at WordPressTheme.com . This post will include the following information; authors name, link to authors website, date of theme submission to WordPressTheme.com, other details supplied by the author that are approved by WPT. In exchange for this service it is requested (but not required) that a backlink to WPT be placed on the authors website.
